The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Persian: وزارت امور خارجه Vezârat-e Omur-e Khâreje) is an Iranian government ministry. The Minister for Foreign Affairs is the Cabinet member in charge.
The first Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran was Mo'tamed od-Dowleh Neshat who served between 1911 and 1924. Current Minister of Foreign Affairs is Ali Akbar Salehi, appointed on 13 December 2010.
